Some of Washington’s best journalists have never lifted a pen or microphone and on this night Washington celebrated the historians who use a their camera to show the world history frame by frame.  The artistry, poetry and drama captured by members of the White House News Photographers Association members may not be understood by the American people but the most powerful people know. President Obama will be the featured guest at this year’s Awards Dinner.

Paul and Holly Fine were presented with the WHNPA Lifetime Achievement Award by their friend and colleague since their start at WJLA, Charlie Gibson.
